black and green CEES Logo V smCEES launched a new website this summer. It isn’t just simple and clean design with an intuitive user interface. It conveys our thought leadership, and represents our synergistic, multidisciplinary efforts. It provides those interested with a clearer sense of what we do.

When you want to learn more about our work, read about the unique contributions of WFU faculty and partners, catch up on what’s happening, or just take a pictorial tour of one of our project sites around the world, you have a new and better way to do so. It’s easier to see the innovative ways our faculty are integrating sustainability themes into their classes, how we are venturing to the leading edges of our respective fields through research, and the intersections of our engagement with the broader community.

We brought the work we do into focus by creating collections of project narratives. These portray the complex interconnections of healthy ecosystems and a thriving planet, sustainable market solutions, alternative energy solutions, and technological solutions that power and connect.

We’ve reconfigured our web presence so it’s easier to learn who we are too. You can meet our board of directors and staff, and learn about the expertise of our faculty affiliates too.

This year we’re especially excited about who we are becoming; there will be new, talented minds joining us in late August when we launch the Graduate Programs in Sustainability. Information on our Graduate Certificate in Sustainability and the MA in Sustainability is available on the website. The curriculum ranges from sustainable organizational management to resource management; the MA includes an applied sustainability course in which students will partner with organizations to solve real challenges.

Our goal is to use our freshly minted website as the vehicle to tell our story. We hope you enjoy your visit. We are always happy to answer questions. Blazing the way in search of answers is what we do.
