Join us for these essential conversations

We’re excited to share that our fall conference, “Sustainable, Just, and Abundantly Wild: Effective Action at Every Scale,” will be held here on campus Thursday, November 13.

In addition to a keynote from National Geographic Society CEO Jill Tiefenthaler, we’ll have a day full of compelling conversations addressing a diverse range of environmental challenges. Highlights include:

▸  The Role of Heirs Property in Culture, Climate, Conservation, and Agriculture

▸  Protecting People & Place: Conservation and Human Rights

▸  Advanced Technology for Earth’s Last Best Places

▸  Pro Humanitate in Action, featuring WFU-Community Collaborations at Local, Regional, and Global Levels

The conference will bring together practitioners, academics, and community members to explore questions about the relationships and systems we must prioritize to protect people and planet, the role of leading edge technologies in fighting age-old problems, and opportunities to integrate scholarship, enterprise, policy, and community to drive meaningful change.

All programming is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Act now to learn more about the programming and reserve your spot.
