Faculty Funding: Spring 2026 Seed Grant Applications Now Open
Applications Due March 15, 2026
The Sabin Center is pleased to announce the Spring 2026 cycle for faculty seed grant funding, designed to advance Wake Forest Faculty’s efforts toward a more sustainable, just, and abundantly wild world.
Awards typically range from $1,000 to $4,000, and fund work that facilitates collaboration, enables future grant funding, and supports teacher-scholars working in environmental and sustainability fields.
We strongly encourage applications that align with the following priorities:
Collaborative Research and Scholarship: Enables cross-disciplinary teams to pursue tangible outcomes for critical environment or sustainability questions.
Growth: Supports faculty seeking to shift their scholarly activities toward subjects that address environmental or sustainability challenges.
Curricular Development: Supports faculty and grad students working to develop partnerships with K-12 schools and improve curricula.
Cooperative Grant-Writing: Facilitates full and half-day grant-writing workshops for multidisciplinary groups to gather outside of their normal routines and focus entirely on submitting grant proposals.
