The Sabin Center views technological innovation as a vital tool for progress in the areas of energy and environment. Our work includes conceptualizing, actualizing, and commercializing new technologies and creatively redefining existing technologies.
Much of our work in this area focuses on renewable energy research and is conducted by the Renewable Energy Research Group, one of the Sabin Center’s three core research groups. In addition, affiliates in the Wake Forest Schools of Business and Wake Forest School of Law contribute by broadening our understanding of the legal and economic implications of technological innovation. In the life sciences, our affiliates are pioneering innovative applications for technology in their field.
