Feb 17 Public Lecture: Dr. Alan Townsend, University of Montana
“Oh the Places We Can Go!”
Wake Forest University will welcome Dr. Alan Townsend of University of Montana for a public lecture on Tuesday, February 17. Dr. Townsend is a Professor of Ecosystem Ecology at University of Montana’s W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation. He is the author of This Ordinary Stardust: A Scientist’s Path from Grief to Wonder, and his previously roles include Dean of the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University, Director of CU-Boulder’s Environmental Studies Program and its Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research, and Director of the Division of Environmental Biology at the National Science Foundation.
Dr. Townsend’s Public Lecture, “Oh the Places We Can Go,” will be held in Winston Hall Room 126 at 4pm.
